Accounting Manager, Financial Reporting
An integral role within the Accounting department for MASI. The responsibilities will involve month‑end and year‑end close, reporting packages, inventory analysis, and participation in multiple audits. Management of internal controls and policies while working cross‑functionally to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
Accoutabilities:- Manage staff of 2
- Oversee and report on large projects and accounts for the commercial business with visibility to the leadership team, creating a consistent flow of transparency and collaboration.
- Facilitate month end close and annual audits
- Identify, create, and maintain internal controls
- Support AR, AR, and Vancouver accounting teams
- Timely reporting packages for management review
- Deadlines for journal entries and reporting
- Make adjustments monthly
- Management of staff and accountability for accurate reporting of the supply chain balance sheet
- All decisions and adjustments related to the commercial balance sheet
- Adjustments that may fall out of the scope of what is needed for balance sheet accounts
- All FP&A and Accounting employees on both sides of business, specifically management teams
- Bachelor’s degree, MBA or CPA
- 5–6 years of experience
- Team player who can work and communicate with all levels of employees
- Experience with Excel, Word, PPT, ERP
Compensation offered to prospective Team Members has taken internal equity into consideration and can vary depending on a positions’ location. The final agreed upon wage may vary based on the job‑related knowledge, skills, and experience of the individual.
