Our continued growth has created an exciting opportunity to join our Finance and Accounting team as a Senior Accountant.
Key Responsibilities
* Prepare and post standard and non-standard journal entries during the month-end and year-end close.
* Reconciling balance sheet and P&L accounts monthly.
* Analyze variances between actual results and budget/forecast.
* Prepare supporting schedules and documentation for financial statements.
* Prepare audit schedules and assist with external audits.
* Prepare joint venture service fee entries and monthly statements.
* Collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders to resolve accounting issues.
* Maintain compliance with corporate accounting policies and procedures.
* Support implementation of process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
* Assist with special projects and ad-hoc requests as assigned.
Education and Experience Requirements
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting (CPA preferred).
* 3+ years of related experience.
* Strong analytical, written, and verbal communication skills.
* Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
* Proficient Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel, with ability to learn new tools quickly.
* Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to multi-task and operate independently.
* Workday Financials ERP experience a plus.
* Healthcare industry experience a plus.
