Senior Accountant

Job Description

Our client, a fast-growth SaaS technology company, is looking for an experienced Senior Accountant to support the Controller and lead activities around GL accounting, month-end close, account and bank reconciliations, P&L analysis, and audit preparation.

• Plan and perform monthly and quarterly closing procedures, including posting entries and preparing various reconciliations.
• Lead and coordinate fiscal month and year-end close process.
• Assist in the year-end audit by working with external auditors, preparing schedules, and gathering support.
• Assist in the preparation of financial statements.
• Support the monthly consolidation process, including posting monthly intercompany billing and payables, posting elimination entries, and reconciling intercompany balances.
• Support implementation of financial systems, including upgrades and training.
• Provide accounting support for mergers and acquisitions.
• Partner with cross-functional teams and finance leadership.

• B.A. degree in accounting or related field.
• 5–7 years of progressive accounting experience.
• Knowledge of GAAP/IFRS.
• Net Suite ERP accounting system experience is required.
• Ability to multi-task and prioritize projects to meet deadlines and goals.
• Ability to adapt to a changing schedule as directed.
• Ability to work independently and effectively manage time.
• Strong presentation and communication skills with internal and external parties.
