  • Provide technical accounting guidance on transaction structures and key accounting considerations.
  • Support accounting diligence efforts and review of transaction-related agreements.
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure alignment on accounting treatment of acquired businesses, while dedicated teams support operational finance integration.
Financial Reporting
  • Support the preparation and review of GAAP financial statements and disclosures.
  • Assist in the preparation of key components such as the statement of cash flows and technical disclosures.
  • Analyze and document technical accounting conclusions impacting financial reporting.
  • Serve as a primary liaison with external auditors on complex accounting matters.
Cross-Functional Partnership
  • Collaborate with Finance, FP&A, Legal, and operational teams to ensure appropriate accounting treatment.
  • Translate complex accounting concepts into practical guidance for stakeholders.
  • Support ongoing efforts to improve consistency and scalability of accounting processes.
Requirements

  • 7+ years of relevant experience (public accounting strongly preferred).
  • Deep knowledge of U.S. GAAP, including ASC 606 (Revenue Recognition) and ASC 805 (Business Combinations).
  • Strong experience preparing technical accounting memos and interfacing with auditors.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

  • CPA certification (strongly preferred).
  • Experience in the insurance industry (MGA, brokerage, or underwriting).
  • Familiarity with IFRS.
  • Experience supporting financial statement preparation and disclosures.
