An integral role within the Accounting department for MASI. The responsibilities will involve Month-end and year-end close, reporting packages, inventory analysis, and participation in multiple audits. Management of internal controls and policies while working cross-functionally to identify and implement process improvements and efficiencies.

• Oversee and report on large projects and accounts for the commercial business with visibility to the leadership team. Creating a consistent flow of to create transparency and collaboration.
• Facilitate month end close and annual audits
• Identify, create, and maintain internal controls
• Supporting AR, AR, and Vancouver accounting teams

• Timely reporting packages for mgmt. review
• Deadlines for journal entries and reporting
• Make adjustments monthly

• Management of staff and accountability for accurate reporting of the supply chain balance sheet

• All decisions and adjustments related to the commercial balance sheet

• Adjustments that may fall out of the scope of what is needed for balance sheet accounts

• All FP&A and Accounting employees on both sides of business, specifically management teams

• Bachelor’s degree, MBA or CPA
• 5-6 years of experience
• Team player who can work and communicate with all levels of employees
• Experience with Excel, Word, PPT, ERP
