Senior Accountant

Responsibilities include the following areas:

• Provide accurate and timely data that can be used to achieve the goals of the company.
• Monthly balance sheet reconciliations, journal entry preparation and analytical review.
• Cash management reporting.
• Maintain fixed asset accounting and reporting.
• Supervise and review the accounts payable process.
• Payroll review and management of wage garnishments.
• Preparation of various Sales and Use tax returns.
• Assist in revenue and cost analysis for monthly and yearly accounting and reporting functions.
• Various special projects as needed by the Controller and Corporate Officers.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or finance, CPA certification is desirable.
• Minimum of five years of corporate accounting experience in maintaining the general ledger and related financial reports on a timely basis.
• Proficient in accounting software, MS Office, advanced Excel skills.
• Previous experience with Sage Intacct (or other large ERP Systems) experience is highly desirable.
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
