Join Aprio’s Real Estate Client Accounting Services team and help clients maximize their opportunities. Aprio is a progressive, fast‑growing firm looking for a Senior Accounting Associate to join their dynamic team.

Position Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the global team on a daily basis to foster a highly collaborative and productive team environment
  • Act as primary point of contact for clients
  • Complete ad hoc projects for clients as needed that require "rolling up your sleeves" and completing tasks for clients
  • Review draft work papers and financials provided by the global team and provide review notes back to the team
  • Perform variance analysis and deliver actionable commentary for client review
  • Ensure timely completion of client deliverables outlined in MSAs, including sending monthly financial reporting packs to clients
  • Manage rent rolls, CAM reconciliations, lease schedules, and tenant ledgers
  • Oversee accounts payable and receivable for property operations
  • Utilize property management systems (e.g., Yardi, MRI) alongside CAS platforms
  • Assist clients during annual audits and coordinate with external auditors
  • Maintain awareness of client deliverables and manage scope creep
  • Prioritize client contact over emails
  • Provide proactive advice and notifications to clients throughout the month
  • Mentor junior staff and contribute to team development initiatives
  • Identify organic growth opportunities for Aprio services
Qualifications
  • Bachelor of Accounting; CPA preferred
  • Industry‑specific experience: 4+ years of property accounting experience, ideally in a client‑service environment
  • Deliver month‑end financials and advisory work to clients
  • Proficient in US GAAP and real‑estate accounting principles and property management systems
  • Commit to continuous learning and become technically strong within your segment
  • Positive, highly professional attitude and desire to work within a global team

$73,000 - $117,500 a year
