Staff Accountant

Job Summary

BASIC FUNCTION:
The Staff Accountant will maintain accounting standards within established policies and procedures.

• Four years’ experience in a hotel environment
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Experience with Maestro PMS

• Accounts Receivable (A/R)
• Prepare A/R invoices for internal and external clients
• Prepare and send monthly Member A/R invoices
• Process payments for A/R
• Collection of all A/R balances
• Research and respond to all A/R inquiries
• Accounts Payable (A/P)
• Maintain and control vendor set up and supporting documentation
• Validate and process A/P invoices for payment
• Review vendor statements at month end
• Prepare monthly accruals for all outstanding A/P invoices
• Prepare and send monthly Member Accounts Receivable invoices
• Reconcile Craftable to A/P
• Reconcile Cash and prepare deposits
• Maintain and support internal controls

• Respond to any reasonable task assigned by the Director of Finance, Accounting Manager and/or General Manager

$50,000 – $60,000

Actual compensation packages are based on a wide array of factors unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, years & depth of experience, certifications and specific office location. This may differ in other locations due to cost of labor considerations.
