Property Accountant

Description
-Complete month-end financial packages for a portfolio of properties for review by controller

-Maintain General Ledger

-Prepare all journal entries and accruals

-Accounts Payable and Receivable processing

-Monitor/reconcile bank accounts

-Assist/prepare Quarterly and Annual financial reporting for lenders and investors

-Assist in Cam/Tax reconciliation process

-Review & maintain mortgage and depreciation schedules

-Review & maintain property tax and insurance schedules

-Support annual budgeting process and ad hoc projects

-Prepare work papers and collaborate with Auditors on annual audits

-Understand and apply GAAP and internal policies & procedures

-Collaborate on process improvements/efficiencies

-Yardi Voyager experience

-Strong analytical and organizational skills

-Strong knowledge of Microsoft Excel

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills

REQUIREMENTS

-3-5 years of experience in property accounting and financial statement preparation

-Accounting Bachelor's Degree Requirements Property Accounting, Yardi Software, Month End Close, Accrual Accounting, General Ledger
