My client, a Top Real Estate Asset Manager is looking for a Senior Fund Accountant to join their expanding team to handle internal fund accounting. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.
Responsibilities- Lead monthly/quarterly closes and financial reporting
- Assist with SEC filings and investment analysis
- Prepare journal entries and review financial statements
- Coordinate audits, tax reporting, and cash transactions
- Improve reporting processes and support special projects
- 3+ years of accounting experience
- Strong Excel, financial reporting, and analytical skills
- Detail-oriented with strong communication abilities
