Senior Advisor, Property Tax | Chicago | $120,000 to $150,000 + Bonus/Benefits

I'm partnering with a large, asset-intensive organization on a newly created Senior Advisor, Property Tax opportunity.

This is a highly consultative property tax role focused on valuation, modeling, appeals, incentives, abatements, and strategic advisory work across a complex multi-state portfolio. The position offers significant exposure to development projects as well as an existing operating asset base.

• 5+ years of multi-state property tax experience
• Strong understanding of property valuation and assessment methodology
• Experience with appeals strategy, incentives, abatements, and discretionary tax benefits
• Exposure to large-scale industrial, energy, utility, manufacturing, infrastructure, or similar asset-heavy environment
• An advisory mindset with the ability to influence decisions and operate independently
• Open to candidates from property tax consulting/advisory firms/public accounting industry tax groups within complex asset-intensive organization
• JD, CPA, or CMI preferred

This is not a compliance-focused role. The client is seeking a subject matter expert who can provide strategic guidance, evaluate valuation assumptions, navigate ambiguity, and help shape the future of the property tax function.
