Sr. Consultant, Federal Tax and Accounting Methods

Overview

The Senior Consultant performs core technical work on engagements and begins to take ownership of specific work streams, applying U.S. federal tax accounting knowledge to deliver client value.

• Supports and mentors junior staff.
• Contributes to team development and knowledge sharing.
• Executes significant portions of tax accounting method engagements.
• Performs detailed tax research and develops technical analyses.
• Drafts technical memoranda and client deliverables.
• Interacts with clients to gather data and clarify issues.
• Reviews work of consultants for accuracy.
• Manages assigned tasks within project timelines.
• Contributes to process improvements and documentation standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• CPA, JD, or Master of Taxation preferred or in progress.
• 2–4 years of experience in tax consulting or corporate tax.
• Excellent communication, business development, and interpersonal skills.

• Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and internet navigation and research.

• Valid driver’s license required.
