Our Financial Accounting Advisory Services (FAAS) team is growing exponentially, and as a Manager you’ll play a key role in that growth by communicating creative, strategic goals both internally and externally. You will be working across all industries, listening to and understanding clients to give them a truly exceptional experience in a field where there are no off‑the‑shelf recommendations.
Key Responsibilities- Drive client engagements that require complex accounting and financial reporting solutions.
- Think on your feet and challenge existing practices to develop answers to complex issues.
- Collaborate with colleagues across multiple service lines, building relationships and identifying opportunities for clients.
- Travel regularly to meet with key clients, some of the most respected in their fields.
- Consulting with clients on complex accounting issues.
- Collaborating with partners, senior managers, and clients to influence strategy, balancing risk and client expectations.
- Ensuring the Engagement team thoroughly understands clients’ unique needs, ambitions and expectations.
- Building relationships with colleagues across multiple service lines to provide seamless integrated service.
- Managing performance and identifying opportunities to improve products and processes.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or business discipline and 5‑8 years of experience as an auditor in a public accounting firm.
- US CPA licensure in your work state.
- Strong technical writing skills and advanced risk management knowledge.
- Deep understanding of the marketplace, commonly used terminology, processes and tools.
- Proven record of excellence in managing, mentoring and improving a high‑performing team.
- Confidence to research and resolve emerging client issues, including regulations, industry practices and new technologies.
- Willingness to travel and work in excess of standard hours when necessary.
- Reliable transportation to and from the EY office and client sites (driver’s license strongly recommended).
- Master’s degree in accounting, finance or business discipline.
- External audit experience at a Big 4 accounting firm.
- Comprehensive compensation and benefits package, base salary range U.S. $112,700 – $206,500, with higher ranges for certain metro areas.

- Hybrid model – most external roles expected to work in office 40–60 percent of the time.
