Cost Estimator – Clayco

Salary Range: $62,000 - $80,500. The Cost Estimator is responsible for all independent construction cost control functions, including the review of construction project change orders. The role ensures accurate cost tracking and supports project teams in financial decision‑making.

Located in the oil & gas pipeline sector, this role demands an experienced and analytical professional who manages cost estimating, bid analysis, and change control for pipeline projects.

Specializes in optimizing tax benefits by identifying and classifying assets to accelerate depreciation deductions. The position involves conducting asset reviews and preparing detailed segregation reports for commercial and residential properties.

Oversees the Quaker, Gatorade, PCNA, Joint Venture, and Frito Lay Warehouse product costing. Responsibilities include performing standard costing, variance analysis, and cost audit to support pricing and financial planning.

Provides cost control support for major power infrastructure projects, ensuring accurate cost reporting and variance analysis to assist project managers and senior analysts.

Assesses and assembles cost information for projects, collaborating with project managers and engineering teams to develop accurate cost estimates and budgets that guide project execution.

Supports Directors, Project Managers, and cost analysts by providing cost engineering guidance, tracking project costs, and producing financial reports to maintain project profitability.

Leads cost management functions for culturally diverse teams, driving cost efficiency and continuous improvement initiatives across multiple projects and ensuring alignment with corporate financial objectives.

Owns the full financial reporting cycle for product lines, managing cost calculations, inventory valuation, and cost allocation, crucial for accurate financial statements and product profitability analysis.

Leads cost management for hyperscale and colocation data center projects, providing strategic cost analysis, forecasting, and risk assessment to deliver projects within budget and schedule.

Provides financial oversight, cost tracking, and analysis to support the successful delivery of capital construction projects, ensuring accurate forecasting and variance reporting.
