Senior Fund Accountant

Chicago, IL (Hybrid – 3 days in office)

• Manage fund accounting activities for private investment vehicles, including monthly/quarterly closes and investor reporting
• Prepare and review NAV calculations, capital calls, distributions, and financial statements
• Support waterfall calculations and performance reporting
• Partner with internal teams (investment, operations, tax, and investor relations) to ensure accurate and timely reporting
• Coordinate with external administrators and auditors
• Assist with process improvements and initiatives as the firm continues to scale

• 2–10 years of experience in public accounting and/or fund accounting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting
• Exposure to private equity, hedge funds, or alternative investments preferred
• CPA or progress toward certification is a plus
• Highly motivated, “go-getter” mentality with a desire to grow
