Financial Controller, Financial Reporting, Financial Compliance
This is with a highly respected, third-generation, family-owned commercial general contractor with an outstanding reputation both locally and nationally and one of the strongest cultures you’ll find in the construction industry.
This is the type of company where people build careers—not resumes. Many of their Project Managers and Superintendents have been with the company for years, a testament to their collaborative leadership, work-life balance, and long-term stability.
Reporting directly to ownership, this is a high-visibility leadership opportunity with full responsibility for the accounting function and the ability to influence financial strategy across the business. While the immediate need is for a Controller, there is potential for the right individual to grow into a CFO-level leadership role over time.
OpportunityThis is far more than a traditional Controller position.
The company is seeking a hands‑on construction accounting leader who enjoys rolling up their sleeves while also serving as a trusted business partner to ownership and operations. You’ll inherit an established accounting team and solid foundation while having the opportunity to improve processes, strengthen reporting, and help guide the company’s continued growth.

This is a chance to join a financially stable, highly respected contractor where you’ll have a genuine voice in the business, direct access to ownership, and the ability to influence the future of the organization. Rather than simply maintaining the accounting department, you’ll have the opportunity to strengthen it, partner closely with operations, and play a meaningful role in the company’s continued success.
