Senior Fund Accountant - REIT

We’re partnering with a highly active and growing real estate investment and development platform to identify a Senior Fund Accountant to join their team.

This is a high-impact role supporting investment funds across the full lifecycle — offering strong exposure to acquisitions, capital markets, and investor reporting in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.

This role sits at the center of fund-level financial operations, supporting monthly close, investor reporting, and fund activity across a dynamic real estate portfolio.

You’ll work cross-functionally with teams across investments, development, and asset management while gaining meaningful exposure to capital flows, deal activity, and fund performance.

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual close processes (JEs, reconciliations, reporting)
• Prepare and review fund-level financial statements and investor reporting packages
• Perform variance analysis and support performance insights
• Assist with capital calls, distributions, and investor allocations
• Partner with internal teams on acquisitions, development activity, and cash flow timing
• Coordinate with auditors, fund administrators, and external stakeholders
• Maintain accurate tracking of investor capital accounts and fund activity
• Contribute to process improvements across fund accounting and reporting workflows

• 2–5+ years of experience in fund accounting, public accounting, or real estate accounting
• Exposure to private equity funds, real estate structures, or investment reporting
• Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting concepts
• Advanced Excel skills and comfort working with large datasets
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities
• Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally
