Compensation: $60,000 - $65,000 / year

We’re looking for an Accounts Payable Specialist to join our Finance team. The Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for reconciling and verifying invoices and supporting the team in preparing and processing documentation. The role will report directly to the Controller and is a hybrid position which requires working from our Pilsen office in Chicago as well as working remotely.
Responsibilities- Record vendor invoices in Quick Books and Salesforce.
- Pay vendor invoices.
- Manage multiple AP entities and bank accounts.
- Reconcile accounts payable.
- Assist with month end close.
- Work with vendors to resolve inquiries and issues.
- Assist with reconciling accounts including bank reconciliations.
- Assist with special projects.
- Support the development and implementation of accounting policies.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance preferred.
- Minimum 2 years relevant work experience required.
- Must have Microsoft Office (Excel) experience.
- Proficiency with Quick Books is a plus.
- Must be 21 years of age or older and authorized to work in the United States.
