RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepare, review, and process client invoices in accordance with established billing procedures and engagement terms.
- Generate and revise pre-bills, finalize invoices, and coordinate timely distribution to clients.
- Monitor billing activity, adjustments, write-offs, and documentation related to account inquiries.
- Submit invoices through electronic billing platforms and ensure compliance with client requirements.
- Track reimbursable expenses, costs, and other billable charges for accurate invoicing.
- Prepare reports related to billing activity, accounts receivable, and outstanding balances.
- Address billing questions and resolve discrepancies in a timely and professional manner.
- Maintain accurate billing records, client information, and matter-related data.
- Collaborate with attorneys and legal support staff to ensure billing accuracy and timely completion of billing cycles.
- Support month-end billing processes and assist with financial reporting as needed.
- 3+ years of billing experience, preferably in a legal or professional services environment.
- Experience with electronic invoicing and billing platforms.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to troubleshoot billing issues.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Excel.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and client service skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Anticipated Salary Range: $60K to $70K
