Global Indirect Tax Director

Responsibilities

• Address, research, and consult on complex GIT technical issues for a variety of clients
• Collaborate with WNTO leaders and staff and work closely with Tax Solution Families on identifying risk management issues
• Review documentation and computations for client projects including voluntary disclosure agreements, nexus studies, taxability matrices, and transaction related analysis
• Prepare written tax advice on GIT matters
• Track new developments from state and local jurisdictions with an emphasis on covering GIT issues
• Support Firm-wide and external training to enhance the knowledge of Firm professionals and clients in GIT matters
• Develop tools that will be utilized by the Firm to provide quality service to clients

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
• CPA or JD required; LLM in Taxation preferred
• At least six years of SALT consulting experience at a major public accounting or law firm
• Demonstrated success in tax technical work
• Strong analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel spreadsheet preparation and interpretation
