Immediate need for a talented Payroll Associate I. This is a 03+ months contract opportunity with long-term potential and is located in Abbott Park, IL (Onsite).

Pay Range: $28 - $31/hour. Employee benefits include, but are not limited to, health insurance (medical, dental, vision), 401(k) plan, and paid sick leave (depending on work location).

Key Requirements and Technology

Experience:

• Must have skills:
  Previous work with state agencies
• Solid foundation of payroll taxes- federal, state and Fica taxes
• Work on tax notices, work with tax providers, power of attorneys, and 3rd party authorizations
• Has multi-state tax experience
• Microsoft Office Suites (Excel)
• Communication:
  Clear and effective communication
• Attention to Detail:
  Ensuring all aspects of the project are thoroughly considered and executed
• High school with at least 2-3 years payroll tax experience
• Tax filing exp- payroll tax filing
• Attention to detail
• Fast paced
• Project exp- testing exp
• Education- HS diploma
• Payroll exp of years of exp- 2- 3 years
• Top skills- attention to detail, self-motivation, consistency
• 100% onsite
• Team culture
  - Internal tickets communicating with outside tax vendors, testing, and attending meetings
• Possible extension
