Position SummaryThis position supports accounts receivable by applying customer payments, resolving issues, and following up on past due balances. The role focuses on accuracy, speed, and keeping accounts current.
This is a hands‑on role with direct impact on cash flow and business performance.
The Opportunity- Work directly on customer payments and collections
- Partner with Sales and Customer Service to resolve issues
- Learn and grow in accounting and finance operations
- Contribute to improving processes and performance

- Apply customer payments daily (ACH, wire, check, credit card)
- Resolve unapplied cash, short payments, and discrepancies
- Maintain accurate records in the system (JD Edwards)
- Follow up on past due invoices and payment status
- Work with internal teams to resolve billing and payment issues
- Support month‑end close and reporting
- Help improve processes over time
- Payments are applied accurately and on time
- Unapplied cash is reduced
- Past due balances are managed and improving
- Issues are resolved quickly
- Records are clean and audit‑ready
- 4–6 years of experience in accounts receivable, collections, or similar work
- Strong attention to detail
- Comfortable working with numbers and systems
- Able to manage multiple priorities
- Experience with JD Edwards or similar ERP systems
- Excel experience
- Competitive pay: $45,000 – $57,000 ($23–$29/hour)
