Join Our Team! We’re looking for a detail-oriented Accounting + Operations Manager to handle key financial tasks, including wire transfers, accounts payable, and account reconciliation. In this role, you’ll ensure the accurate and timely recording of financial transactions in compliance with GAAP, maintain the general ledger, prepare various financial statements and reports, and supervise and mentor an Accounting Associate

  Prepare monthly financial statements, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles (
• GAAP).Submit required forms and process monthly sales tax payments in accordance with state and local tax regula
• tions.
  
  Monitor bank statements regularly to track and verify credit card transactions, EFT/ACH payments, and other financial activ
• ities.
  
  Conduct collection calls and follow up on outstanding customer payments to maintain healthy cash flow and reduce past-due bal
• ances.
  
  Submit and verify employee hours and sales commissions for payroll processing on a biweekly
• basis.
  
  Oversee the year-end physical inventory of our warehouse – as a distribution company, this is an all-hands-on-deck project to reco
• ncile.
  
  Ensure the daily processing of Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, and order entries. This includes supervising and providing career development opportunities for one Accounting Asso
• ciate.
  
  Work closely with senior management on various finance-related projects and ad hoc tasks to support business objec
• tives.
  
  Collaborate closely with Corporate Controller within our other commonly owned ent

  Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a business-related field; or equivalent exp
• erience
  
  Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounting-focused role, preferably in distribution, but open to any i
• ndustry
  
  At least a limited understanding of inventory management pr

  Familiarity with S Corp Organi
• zations
  
  Strong computer skills, including Excel and Microso
• ft Word Excellent phone and communication skills for both internal employees and external customers and vendors of all back
