Senior Accountant

About The Role

As the Senior Accountant at Nature’s Bakery, you’ll play a key role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, maintaining compliance with US GAAP, and supporting month-end close and internal control processes. You bring strong technical accounting expertise, excellent analytical skills, and experience with ERP systems and other accounting software tools. You thrive in a fast-paced environment, communicate effectively with team members at all levels, and have the flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities.

• Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, monthly close processes, settling monthly intercompany receivables & payables.
• Record acquisitions, transfers, disposals, and depreciation of fixed assets.
• Perform complex and bank and account reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with US GAAP, internal controls, and accounting policies.
• Oversee Concur review and approvals, monthly billing & accruals.
• Maintain and enhance accounting systems, processes, and documentation.
• Support internal and external audits: ensure ongoing compliance with company policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure compliance with policies related to ethics, confidentiality, and safety.
• Perform additional accounting tasks and special projects as needed.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure accuracy and consistency in financial reporting.
• Identify process improvement opportunities within accounting workflows and systems.

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• 5 – 7+ years of progressive accounting experience.
• Strong technical knowledge of US GAAP. Hands‑on experience with S4
  
  Hana, Concur & One Stream preferred.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite – Excel (formulas, Pivot tables, Power Queries), Word & PowerPoint.
• Power BI preferred. Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem‑solving skills.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative mindset. Ability to interface with different levels of the workforce.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, Word & PowerPoint is required.

A reasonable estimate of the current base salary range for this position is $95,000 - $110,000. Actual salary will be based on a variety of factors, including location, experience, skill set, performance, licensure and certification, and business needs. The range for this position in other geographic locations may differ.
