Senior Staff Accountant

Our smaller, but growing family manufacturing client is looking for a Senior Staff Accountant who will own the day-to-day accounting function and serve as the primary accounting resource.

This is a highly visible, hands-on role for someone who enjoys working in a growing entrepreneurial business and wants broad responsibility rather than a specialized accounting position.

• Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process
• Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and maintain the general ledger
• Prepare monthly financial statements and management reporting
• Maintain fixed assets and depreciation schedules
• Identify and implement accounting process improvements
• Support annual audit and tax preparation
• Provide backup support for AP/AR as needed
• Partner directly with ownership on financial reporting and accounting operations

• Current or recent Senior Accountant (or similar) experience
• QB exp would be highly preferred
• Full ownership of month-end close
• Strong GL, journal entry, reconciliation, financial statement, balance sheet, and P&L experience
• Ability to work independently & have strong Excel skills
