The following responsibilities, opportunities, and requirements for this position are as follows:
Responsibilities and Opportunities- Manage and deliver accurate weekly and monthly client accounting, including reconciliations, journal entries, and month-end close in Quick Books/QBO
- Prepare client-ready financial statements and reporting packages; clearly explain results to business owners and internal teams
- Perform variance and flux analysis to identify issues, root causes, and practical solutions
- Build and maintain recurring client reporting packages and dashboards (KPIs, key metrics, and narrative insights)
- Strengthen internal controls and improve accounting processes (documentation, checklists, and close calendars)
- Partner with client owners/management to resolve accounting issues and improve decision-ready reporting
- Supervise, review, and coach associates by assigning work, providing clear direction, and enforcing quality standards
- Contribute to special projects and process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy, and client satisfaction
- Typically 3+ years of professional accounting experience, including approximately 2 years in public accounting
- Experience delivering client-facing accounting services (CAS, outsourced accounting, advisory, or similar)
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Must possess the required credit hours for CPA licensure eligibility
- Ability to work in the office a minimum of 3-4 days per week
- Strong GAAP knowledge and financial statement preparation skills
- Advanced Excel proficiency (reconciliations, roll forwards, data cleanup, reporting)
- High integrity, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently while managing multiple client engagements
- Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset and dedication to delivering exceptional client service
- Certified Public Accounting designation
- 1+ years of proven supervisory or mentor experience
- Passion for problem-solving and being a technical resource for team members

The estimated salary range for this role is $75,000-$98,000. Individual salaries are determined based on multiple factors, including the candidate's qualifications, experience, skills, and location.
