Tax Senior – Commercial Tax

• Prepare federal and state tax returns, extensions, and quarterly projections for C-Corporation, S-Corporation, partnership, and individual clients
• Review tax work of staff and interns and provide feedback, training, and mentoring
• Review tax information and coordinate with clients and staff while building relationships
• Assist with coordinating day-to-day planning, tax work, and delivery of finished work products
• Perform tax research and resolve issues
• Identify and communicate tax matters to Managers and Partners

• Bachelor’s degree required
• 3–5 years of professional experience, preferably in a mid-size public accounting firm
• Advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws, including corporate, individual, trust, gift, and partnership taxation
• CPA or CPA eligibility preferred
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong client service skills
• Ability to approach projects with a sense of urgency
• Highly motivated and able to work independently and in a team setting
• Outstanding analytical, organizational, and project management skills
• Knowledge of CCH Axcess, Sureprep, XCM, and Caseware is a plus

Demonstrates advanced knowledge of federal and state tax laws, including corporate, individual, trust, gift, and partnership taxation, while effectively preparing tax returns and providing mentorship to staff. Strong client service and communication skills are essential for building relationships and delivering high-quality tax work.
