Senior Accounting Consultant

A respected advisory firm is hiring experienced accounting professionals for project-based consulting roles in the Chicago area. Please note that this is a full-time, salaried position with competitive base compensation + other incentives. This is not a contract role.

• Support clients through a variety of strategic finance and technical accounting projects
• Contribute to or lead initiatives such as:
• Fund accounting
• General ledger close and process improvement
• FP&A, budgeting, and forecasting support
• Technical accounting (e.g., ASC 606, ASC 842, SEC reporting)
• IPO readiness and public company transformation
• M&A preparation and integration
• Adapt quickly to new systems, tools, and team dynamics

• 3+ years of total experience in: external audit, advisory, corporate accounting, and/or corporate finance
• 2+ years of experience in public accounting required
• CPA licensed or in process preferred
• Strong technical accounting knowledge and business acumen
• Experience with publicly traded companies/clients
• Comfortable in fast-paced, client-facing roles
• Excellent communication and adaptability in new environments
