About
The Role
The role oversees core accounting operations, ensuring rigorous compliance with US GAAP, SOX controls, and SEC reporting frameworks.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the end-to-end month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close processes in accordance with US GAAP
- Design, test, and maintain SOX compliance controls and financial reporting workflows
- Prepare SEC filings, financial statements, and technical accounting memos for complex transactions
- Partner with internal and external auditors during annual financial statement audits and control reviews
- Optimize ERP and financial systems (Net Suite, Workday) to automate reporting and reduce close cycle times
- Supervise junior accounting staff, reviewing journal entries, reconciliations, and variance analyses
- 5-8 years of progressive accounting experience, combining public accounting (Big 4 preferred) and industry experience
- Active CPA license required
- Deep technical expertise in US GAAP, SOX compliance, and financial reporting
- Advanced proficiency with ERP systems (Net Suite) and Excel for financial modeling and data analysis
- Bonus:
Experience in a high-growth technology or SaaS environment scaling accounting operations
