Senior Accountant– Technical Accounting & Strategic Finance

We are partnering with a growing professional services organization that helps clients navigate complex accounting, financial reporting, and business transformation initiatives. This role offers the opportunity to work on a variety of high-impact projects across multiple industries while collaborating with experienced finance and accounting professionals.

Responsibilities
- Partner with clients on complex accounting, financial reporting, and finance transformation initiatives.
- Research and apply U.S. GAAP guidance to technical accounting matters.
- Assist with financial statement preparation, SEC reporting, and disclosure requirements.
- Support mergers, acquisitions, carve-outs, integrations, and other strategic transactions.
- Participate in IPO readiness, process improvement, and finance transformation projects.
- Evaluate internal controls and recommend improvements to accounting processes.
- Analyze financial data and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
- Collaborate with client leadership and cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality project outcomes.
- Manage multiple client engagements while meeting project deadlines.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.
- 3+ years of public accounting or relevant industry experience.
- Big 4 or large public accounting experience preferred.
- CPA or active pursuit of CPA preferred.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and financial reporting.
- Experience with technical accounting, SEC reporting, or transaction-related projects is a plus.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
