As a Senior Accountant at Exrox, you ll lead financial reporting and month-end close processes for a diverse portfolio of 25-30 clients across multiple industries. This role offers the opportunity to mentor junior staff while developing expertise in technical accounting areas.
Key Responsibilities- Manage full-cycle accounting including month/year-end close processes for client engagements.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements (balance sheets, income statements, cash flows).
- Review work of Staff Accountants (2-3 direct reports).
- Implement and maintain accounting controls and best practices.
- Lead client meetings to present financial results and recommendations.
- Research technical accounting issues and draft position papers.
- Optimize client accounting processes through technology integration.
- Bachelor s degree in Accounting.
- CPA certification (active).
- 4+ years public accounting experience.
- Expertise in GAAP financial reporting.
- Experience with Quick Books Online and Exro.
- Client-facing advisory experience.
- Knowledge of ASC 606 revenue recognition.
- Experience mentoring junior staff.
$3,000 annual stipend for continuing education and 80+ hours of paid training.
Work FlexibilityHybrid schedule (3 days office/2 remote) with flexible hours.
CompensationBase salary plus performance bonuses (15-20% of base) and 401(k) matching.
