We currently have an exciting career opportunity for an Assurance Manager to join the Affordable Housing team in our Chicago office.

This position is considered hybrid which means team members are expected to be thoughtful and intentional in how they create opportunities for in-person collaboration. While the cadence of in-office presence is determined at the team level, our professionals are encouraged to be in the office/together in person on average 3 days a week.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Serve as the engagement lead on specific client accounts
• Take responsibility for pre-engagement planning, execution, and final deliverables
• Develop detailed engagement work plans
• Illustrate budgets and schedules
• Actively participate in proposals
• Manage a team of staff associates, including interns, while providing regular performance coaching and feedback

The successful candidate will have:

• Bachelor's or Master's in Accounting required
• CPA designation is required
• 5+ years' experience in a public accounting firm required
• Knowledge of audit software Pro System Fx a plus
• Exceptional organizational, communication and presentation (verbal and written) skills

In Illinois, the salary range for Assurance Managers is $100,000 - $150,000. Salary determination will vary based on factors such as a candidate's geographical location, qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
