Senior Property Accountant

Our company is a leading real estate management firm that specializes in managing a diverse portfolio of residential and commercial properties. • Responsible for accounting for a portfolio of properties, which includes the general ledger month-end close and supporting work papers. This includes both residential and commercial properties.
• Review the balance sheet and income statement to ensure accurate and timely recording of all transactions. Analyze and understand fluctuations in account balances and identify underlying drivers.
• Maintain and update individual property workbooks that are reviewed by management.
• Review and approve payables, ensuring proper GL coding and descriptions.
• Prepare budget to actual variance reports, providing valuable insights and analysis.

• A bachelor's degree (B.A.) in accounting or finance from a four-year college or university
• 1 to 3 years of prior property accounting experience

Compensation range: $70k-100k, depending on experience
