Senior Accountant Financial Reporting

SNI Financial is partnered with a well-known publicly traded company that is headquartered in the Loop that is looking to hire a Senior Financial Reporting Accountant. This individual will support monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting, including SEC filings, financial statements, management reporting, and audit support.

Responsibilities

• Prepare consolidated financial statements and SEC filings in accordance with U.S. GAAP
• Support monthly management and CFO reporting
• Prepare consolidation, intercompany, and related journal entries
• Review financial data and Hyperion reporting
• Support quarterly earnings releases and standalone financial statements
• Prepare audit schedules and assist with external audits
• Review XBRL tagging and debt covenant calculations
• Identify process improvements and assist with special projects

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 3–5 years of accounting experience; public accounting preferred
• CPA preferred
• Strong U.S. GAAP and SEC reporting experience
• Strong Excel and analytical skills
