Cash Application Coordinator

Salary: $60,000–$75,000 | Downtown Chicago | Hybrid — 3 Days On-Site

Our client, a financially stable, well-established professional services firm, is seeking a Cash Applications Coordinator to join its long-tenured accounting team.

• Apply daily cash receipts to customer accounts accurately and efficiently
• Research and resolve unapplied cash, payment discrepancies, and short payments
• Reconcile customer accounts and ensure accurate payment application
• Process ACH, wire, check, and other forms of customer payments
• Communicate with internal teams and clients to resolve payment issues
• Assist with accounts receivable reconciliations and month-end close activities

• 1–4 years of cash application experience required
• Experience with high-volume cash application and account reconciliations
• Ability to research and resolve payment discrepancies
• Bachelor’s degree preferred
