Senior Financial Analyst – Technical Accounting
Minimum of 2 years of public accounting experience (Audit OR Tax) is REQUIRED for this position. Candidates without at least 2 years of public accounting experience will not be considered. If you do not meet this requirement, please do not apply.
Hybrid (3 days in office / 2 remote) – Chicago Area:
Near NW side, Blue Line Accessible Base salary up to $95K + approximately 10% bonus (awarded consistently for the past 5 years)

Join a team focusing on Technical Accounting and Accounting Policy supporting various financial services areas. The role involves a high level of project-based work and addressing real-time accounting queries from the business. For example, when a new product is launched or a contract is signed, determining the correct GAAP treatment falls on you. You’ll research, analyze, and document conclusions used by senior management.
Key Responsibilities- Research and resolve technical accounting issues (GAAP) across different business lines
- Analyze contracts, new products, and transactions for proper accounting treatment
- Create technical accounting memos and documentation for leadership review
- Collaborate with senior management and business leaders to address accounting questions
- Evaluate and track new accounting standards (FASB, etc.) and their impact
- Support ad hoc, high-impact accounting projects
- 2–3 years of public accounting experience (REQUIRED)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting
- Strong background in audit
- CPA or CPA track is preferred
- Exposure to accounting standards (revenue, lease) within audit is a plus
