Position Summary:

We are seeking an experienced CPA to join our team as a Senior Manager, specializing in Manufacturing and Distribution clients. This role will lead client engagements, provide strategic guidance, and drive business development initiatives. The ideal candidate brings deep technical expertise, strong leadership skills, and experience advising clients with domestic and international operations.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage multiple client engagements within the Manufacturing & Distribution sector, ensuring quality, timeliness, and adherence to professional standards
  • Strong understanding of federal and state C-Corporation taxation
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for clients that have state and international issues
  • Review Federal, state & international tax filings
  • Ability to consult on cross border structuring and inbound and outbound transactions.
  • Mentor and develop staff and managers
  • Collaborate with leadership to ensure high-quality client service
  • Business Development
  • Participate in networking events, industry groups, and client meetings to enhance market presence and generate new business
  • Build relationships with global networks and referral partners
Requirements/

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field
  • CPA license (or JD/LLM in Taxation)
  • 8+ years of relevant tax experience, with significant focus on international tax in a public accounting environment
  • Ability to independently handle complex technical issues
  • Proven ability to manage multiple client engagements and deadlines
  • Strong communication and client management skills

Location:

Must be based in or willing to relocate to the Chicago area (Deerfield, IL). Hybrid work environment with in-person expectations for client and networking activities.
