Our client is seeking an experienced Payroll Specialist to join their growing team. This role offers a hybrid work schedule and the opportunity to manage complex domestic and international payroll operations within a dynamic, global organization. The ideal candidate will have at least 4 years of payroll experience, strong technical payroll expertise, and a commitment to accuracy, compliance, and continuous process improvement.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage end-to-end payroll processing for U.S. and international employees, ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery through ADP platforms and global payroll partners.
  • Prepare, analyze, and validate payroll reports on a weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, ensuring accuracy and compliance with reporting requirements.
  • Record payroll-related accounting transactions, including journal entries, and perform reconciliations of payroll, benefits, taxes, leave accruals, insurance, and other payroll liability accounts.
  • Maintain payroll records and supporting documentation, ensuring data integrity, audit readiness, and compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Administer employee deductions and payroll-related programs, including tax with holdings, garnishments, retirement contributions, flexible spending accounts, and compliance reporting.
  • Review and monitor employee timekeeping records, enforce payroll submission deadlines, and partner with managers to resolve discrepancies in a timely manner.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for payroll-related inquiries, collaborating with employees, internal stakeholders, ADP, and third-party payroll providers to resolve issues efficiently.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal, state, local, and international payroll regulations while identifying opportunities to enhance payroll processes, controls, and reporting capabilities.

Qualifications

  • 4+ years of payroll processing experience, preferably supporting multi-state and/or international payrolls.
  • Experience with ADP.
  • Strong understanding of payroll accounting, reconciliations, tax regulations, and payroll compliance requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills and a customer-service-oriented approach.
