Senior Tax Associate

Our client is looking for a Senior Tax Associate to join their growing Tax team at a leading Illinois public accounting firm. • Prepare and review a variety of federal, state, and local tax returns
• Work directly with tax managers and firm leadership to serve clients and support engagements
• Assist with tax planning, research, and compliance projects
• Manage multiple client engagements and ensure deadlines are met
• Communicate with clients to gather information and respond to tax-related questions
• Build trusted, long-term relationships with clients and teammates
• Support and mentor junior team members when needed

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required;
  Master’s or advanced degree desired
• CPA eligibility required, CPA desired
• 3+ years of tax experience within a public accounting firm
• Experience working with a variety of privately held businesses and individual clients preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to manage multiple engagements and priorities during busy season
• Proficiency with tax software and Microsoft Office Suite
