** My client, a top Real Estate Asset Manager is looking for a Fund Accountant to join their expanding team due to growth. Our client works on a hybrid basis in downtown Chicago, offers competitive compensation, comprehensive health, PTO and retirement benefits.

* Key Responsibilities:
*** Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual accounting closes
* Calculate, interpret, and communicate financial performance returns
* Complete monthly financial analysis and review property manager (and joint venture partner) financial statements
* Handle cash management transactions and tracking
* Support reporting requirements, year-end audit, and tax processes
* Help improve financial reporting processes and client service
* Identify problems and propose solutions
* Assist with special projects as assigned
** Requirements:
*** 1-3 years of accounting experience
* Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting
* CPA preferred (or willingness to pursue)
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills
* Detail-oriented with strong accuracy in self-review
* Highly organized, able to multi-task
* Team player who also works well independently
* Solid grasp of technical accounting concepts
* Strong Excel/MS Office proficiency
