Key Responsibilities for the Cost Accountant:

• Maintain and enhance standard costing systems for manufacturing operations

• Analyze manufacturing variances and provide actionable insights to leadership

• Track and allocate costs across R&D projects and government-funded contracts

• Support inventory valuation, WIP accounting, monthly close, and financial reporting activities

• Prepare project profitability, budget-to-actual, and cost analysis reporting

• Assist with internal controls, audits, and intercompany cost allocation processes

Qualifications for the Cost Accountant:

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field

• 5+ years of manufacturing cost accounting experience

• Strong knowledge of standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory accounting

• Advanced Excel skills and experience with manufacturing ERP systems

• U.S. Citizenship required
