Addison Group is hiring for our client, a senior living community in downtown Chicago. The community values personalized service, exceptional hospitality, and a warm environment for both residents and staff.

Job Description:

We are seeking a professional and personable Concierge to serve as the first point of contact for residents and guests. This role combines administrative responsibilities with a focus on hospitality, assisting residents with requests, coordinating transportation, booking events, and providing information about local attractions. The ideal candidate is upbeat, patient, and thrives on delivering exceptional service in a professional environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Greet and assist residents with inquiries, requests, and general community information in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Coordinate and schedule transportation services for residents, including cars and buses, ensuring timely and accurate service.
  • Process incoming and outgoing packages, mail, and messages efficiently.
  • Maintain and update information on local attractions, restaurants, cultural events, and other points of interest.
  • Assist with special resident requests and personalized experiences, including event bookings and directions.
  • Support other administrative and lobby duties as needed during high-volume periods or staff absences.
  • Work closely with security and other departments to ensure smooth handling of resident deliveries and services.
  • Contribute to a positive and welcoming environment by upholding high standards of professionalism, courtesy, and hospitality.
Qualifications:
  • Minimum 2 years of receptionist experience, preferably in hospitality or senior living.
  • Proven customer service skills with a warm and approachable demeanor.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and proactively anticipate resident needs.
  • Professional appearance required (business attire, no visible tattoos or piercings).
  • Proficiency with basic office software and equipment.

  • Some standing, walking, bending, and reaching required.
  • Close attention to detail and strong communication skills necessary.
