About Our ClientAddison Group is partnering with a mission-driven nonprofit organization seeking a Part-Time Office Manager to support daily operations during an exciting period of growth and transition. This role is newly created and will play a key part in supporting an upcoming office relocation and the rollout of new systems and procedures.
Job DescriptionThe Part-Time Office Manager will support both administrative and operational functions, helping ensure smooth day-to-day office activity while assisting leadership with financial coordination and organizational projects. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys wearing multiple hats, thrives in a collaborative environment, and is comfortable supporting change initiatives such as office moves and system updates.
Key Responsibilities- Provide administrative and operational support to leadership and staff
- Monitor incoming financial documents, including invoices and billing-related items, and route them to appropriate stakeholders
- Assist with basic accounts payable and receivable tracking in coordination with a third‑party accounting partner
- Support office operations including vendor coordination, supplies, and facilities needs
- Help prepare staff for an upcoming office relocation by assisting with new building procedures and systems
- Create simple reference materials such as quick guides or one-page instructions for internal use
- Maintain organized records, contracts, and administrative documentation
- Support onboarding and offboarding logistics as needed
- Assist with special projects focused on process improvement and operational efficiency
- 2–3 years of experience in office management, operations, or administrative support
- Prior experience in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization preferred
- Familiarity with basic AP and AR documentation and invoice workflows
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and cloud-based administrative or financial tools
- Experience with Quick Books is a plus but not required
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Four-month contract role
- Background check required prior to start
