Financial Aid Clerical - Summer Student Employment

Summary

This position is accountable for supporting the staff by performing a wide range of basic clerical/office tasks for the Office of Financial Aid and must be very customer-service oriented.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

* Greet all callers and visitors in courteous manner.

* Assist with clerical tasks such as making copies, filing, scanning documents into Image Now.

* Become familiar with all Financial Aid policies, procedures, and general information in order to assist with telephone and in-person inquiries.

* Assist students and guests who visit the Financial Aid Office.

* Maintains an appropriate and professional environment in the reception area of the office.

* Answers phone calls and directs calls to the appropriate financial aid counselors.

* Performs related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

MUST BE A STUDENT AT SAINT XAVIER UNIVERSITY

Must be Federal Work Study Eligible

Must Include a Resume and Cover Letter

Student must be dependable, professional, and customer service oriented. The student must have the ability to interact with the public in a courteous, business-like manner at all times, while handling/viewing confidential information.
