JOB SUMMARYUnder the direction of the Family Resources Supervisor, the Family Resources Support Specialist is responsible for all support functions that are required to maintain and track all paperwork required of the Family Resource teams that administer the IDHS Child Care Assistance Program. All work to be completed with minimum supervision and in accordance with organizational standards.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Create, maintain, and retrieve alphabetical case files, which includes but not limited to filing of all parent/provider required paperwork, data entering and/or scanning client information into computer filing system and upkeep of file storage areas.
- Approve and enter all IDHS childcare certificates in the Child Care Tracking System while maintaining all applicable department databases; identify discrepancies and payment issues in accordance with the IDHS Procedure Manual.
- Maintain records/databases pertaining to W9/CANTS/IVR forms and run reports as needed; ensure appropriate actions are taken with providers who do/do not meet qualifications set by IDHS.
- Process weekly IDHS and internal reports;
Responsible for all quality control measures to ensure file compliance. - Maintain and adhere to all Illinois Action for Children and IDHS policies and procedures in regards to file maintenance and required timelines. Assist with quarterly Springfield shipment projects.
- Ensure confidentiality of parent and provider information received and managed by Illinois Action for Children.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCEHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED) and two to three months related experience and/or training.
