We are currently seeking a full-time Document Prepping Specialist to join our growing Parking Management team! The Document Prepping Specialist is responsible for sorting, opening, and prepping mail received each day so that it is ready for processing and treatment by other business process support areas on the project.

Essential Job Functions
  • Receive and sort various trays of mail from different P.O. Boxes, ensuring accurate counting and recording of the amount received by entering the relevant data into daily incoming mail receipt logs.
  • Use high speed mail opening equipment within manufacturer specifications and instructions to accurately cut envelopes, ensuring that contents are not damaged.
  • Remove and review envelope contents, properly classifying and sorting them into the correct document categories, including payments, CBMs (Change of Beneficiary Forms), IPHs (Insurance Policy Holders), ANOV (Automated Notice of Violation) citations and evidence, and other correspondence received.
  • Remain organized and work under time constraints at a continuous, steady pace while paying close attention to detail in order to complete tasks within the appropriate Service Level Requirement time periods.
  • Complete daily mail opening equipment maintenance, including regular cleaning, calibration, and replacement of simple parts.
  • Utilize basic computer skills, including navigating the Windows operating system, opening and closing various applications, saving electronic files, and using the mouse and keyboard for basic functions.
  • Complete special assignments or assist in other areas of the project based upon availability and fluctuation in volumes.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or equivalent;
    Associate degree, preferred.
  • Must be production oriented and comfortable working to meet daily processing goals and targets.
  • Possess general knowledge of other office equipment including printers, copy machines and fax machines.
  • Excellent Interpersonal communication skills, both written and oral.
Additional Requirements
  • Must pass a criminal background check.
  • Authorized to work in the US for any employer.
  • Available to be in office full-time during regular business hours.
  • Commutable to downtown Chicago.
