Commercial Underwriting Assistant -Hybrid

The Commercial Underwriting Assistant works with the Commercial Title team to support the closing and recording of national commercial real estate transactions, ranging from single‑site to high‑liability multi‑site deals.

• Support the closing process by preparing invoices, routing title comments and underwriting requests, ordering title and tax updates, assembling and calculating pricing information, and recording fees and transfer tax information.
• Review and interpret commercial real estate documents.
• Audit ALTA surveys and legal documents for accuracy.
• Communicate recording information and prepare legal property documents such as proforma policies and endorsements.

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1+ years of title‑related experience preferred.
• Passion for customer service with a professional and positive attitude.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills with internal and external stakeholders.
• Strong organizational skills, detail oriented, problem‑solving abilities, and eagerness to learn.
• Natural curiosity and enjoyment of researching transaction history.
• Proficient with MS Office suite, especially Excel and Adobe.
• Ability to quickly adapt to new software applications and technologies.

Pay Range: $23.37 – $31.14 per hour. Pay is based on job‑related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
