Job Summary
River Roast is seeking an organized and guest-focused Sales Coordinator & Administrative Support professional to support sales, event coordination, and daily administrative operations. This role plays a key part in delivering exceptional service for private dining, group events, and restaurant functions.
Key Responsibilities- Respond to incoming calls and inquiries with a professional, client‑focused approach.
- Support event sales efforts by assisting with proposals, contracts, and Banquet Event Orders (BEOs).
- Coordinate event details with operations and culinary teams to ensure seamless execution.
- Maintain accurate records of client interactions, bookings, and sales activity.
- Assist in driving revenue through effective follow‑up and upselling opportunities.
- Perform clerical duties to support sales and restaurant operations.
- Process and reconcile daily sales, deposits, and cash reports.
- Enter and track weekly sales and event data.
- Review and process vendor invoices, ensuring pricing accuracy and resolving discrepancies.
- Perform monthly vendor statement reconciliations and assist with financial reports.
- Maintain organized and confidential personnel and business files.
- Assist with preparation of internal reports and employment‑related documentation.
- Assist management with staffing coordination, including last‑minute coverage needs.
- Maintain strong working relationships with team members and leadership.
- Ensure accurate communication of event details across departments.
- Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Attend trainings and meetings as required.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Experience in hospitality, catering, restaurant sales, or administrative support preferred.
- Strong organizational and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; POS or event systems experience a plus.
- High attention to detail, especially with financial data.
- Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
