Job Description
This unpaid internship focuses on providing administrative support to the General Counsel team, including organizing daily operations and coordinating schedules, calendars, email, and phone calls as needed. This Position Will Entail- Skilled in handling various tasks and projects simultaneously.
- Capable of maintaining the General Counsel's calendar and scheduling meetings.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Demonstrates self-motivation and strong work ethic.
- Exhibits excellent telephone communication skills.
- Maintains a high level of confidentiality and diplomacy.
- Resides in either EST or CST time zones and possesses a flexible schedule.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills & Qualifications
- Knowledge of corporate etiquette and professional communication standards.
- Proficiency in drafting basic correspondence and legal documents.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proactive approach to problem‑solving and process improvement.
- Familiarity with legal terminology and procedures is a plus.
- Comfort with handling sensitive information discreetly and ethically.
- Willingness to learn and adapt to changing needs and responsibilities.
- Demonstrates respect for diversity and inclusion in all interactions.
- Professional Certification in Administrative Services and/or Executive Secretarial Services.
- Graduated or currently enrolled in a Paralegal Studies graduate program.
- Minimum 3 years working for a Senior level executive.
- Certified Paralegal (CP).
- Professional Paralegal (PP).
