Reports to: Director of Finance & Director of Cashiering
Essential Duties- Spanish speaking applicants will be given preference.
- Establish residency in the State of Illinois within 90 days of hire.
- High School graduate or G.E.D. equivalent.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel programs, including ability to create documents and spreadsheets, and accurate typing skills (45 wpm).
- Willingness to learn department’s case management system (PROMIS/cFive), which is utilized to enter case-related data.
- Possess strong language mechanics – grammar, sentence structure, spelling, proofreading skills.
- Attentiveness to detail and sensitivity to issues of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Possess excellent filing, organizational skills.
- Demonstrates stability under pressure or opposition.
- Ability to perform a variety of tasks, often changing assignments on short notice.
- Ability to work and interact with staff, public, and defendants/probationers.

Physical Requirements- On a continuous basis, sit at a desk for long periods of time in front of a computer screen.
- Able to ambulate throughout the office.
- Intermittently twist to reach equipment or supplies surrounding desk.
- Perform simple grasping and fine manipulation.
- Strength to lift files weighing up to 20 pounds.
- Use telephone and computer keyboard on a daily basis.
